On March 25th and 26th, Root & Rebound will be partnering with the Yurok Tribal Court and OneJustice to provide an educational workshop and record-cleaning clinic to people in Klamath and Eureka, California.

Attorneys and tribal court staff members will provide skills-based education on Root & Rebound's Roadmap to Reentry and Family & Children Toolkit, as well as building skills on record-cleaning remedies like expungements, Prop 47, Prop 64, juvenile record-sealing and Certificates of Rehabilitation. Attending one of these clinics is a unique chance to clean your record and break down barriers to employment, housing and education, as well as access reentry resources that will empower you to navigate legal obstacles.

Root & Rebound will also be providing in-person hotline services, where you can confidentially consult with our legal team about legal reentry issues you are facing.

Participants will need their RAP sheets on-hand to have their records cleaned at the clinic. Because DOJ RAP sheets can take time to obtain, we recommend beginning the process to receive one as soon as possible. Participants who do not have their RAP sheets on-hand may still consult with Root & Rebound's attorneys in one-on-one, confidential conversations regarding legal reentry questions at the clinic.

Need help obtaining your RAP sheet?

If you need information on obtaining your RAP sheet, we encourage you to call Root & Rebound's Friday reentry legal hotline at (510) 279-4662 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to speak with the legal team about next steps and RAP sheet events in your area.

The Yurok Legal Access Center is able to provide LiveScan fingerprinting for RAP sheet access. Contact Maggie Poffenbarger at (707) 482-1350 ext 1336 for more information.
